Baseball Rant

Okay, so the Blue Jays sweep Boston and then get swept by Oakland. The difference in that was the bullpen was simply ugly to watch against Oakland. Good news though, the Jays took 2 in a row against Texas and I suspect they're on their way to another sweep this afternoon in Arlington!

That New York/Boston rivalry never gets old! Chien-Ming Wang dominated the BoSox Friday night, but Manny showed the way yesterday in a rain-plagued game.

Florida Marlins are quietly leading their division right now, with a core group of young guns!

Mets are mediocre, Detroit is downright atrocious (generating 3 runs per game!)

D'Backs will be good this year!

Oakland is beating up Cleveland. Boy they're hot! Scrappy team, but the puzzles fit together!

Orioles leading division...fluke!

I feel the Royals can actually contend this year...NOT...on second thought, perhaps! The young guys are really stepping up to the challenge. The rotation's been solid so far, now if they could just consistently produce some runs!

Go White Sox! The South Siders will have a good year in 2008. As for the North Side, I frankly have no opinion on whether they will or should win the Series. 100 years is a long time, but you gotta earn it!

The Cardinals will make it to the World Series...you can mark my words down! (Though I warn you I am not very good with predictions!)
